I'm really in the mood to go to DAK's Conservation Station and see some animal check-ups or surgeries. I have never done this before, and the furthest I have ventured into this area of DAK is the petting zoo there. So does anyone know where the medical stuff takes place? I've heard that the best time to go would be early in the morning, so I'd probably go first-thing. Is there a number I can call to see if they are doing anything that day?

Can anyone tell me the hours that Tianas Showboat Celebration is going on right now? My husband and I will be arriving in Disney on the last day they are doing the show, and I wanted to see if we would make it in time to see one. Thanks!

So I'm going to kick off the new year/decade with a Disney vacation!! Jan. 4th-10th to be exact :] It's the first time I am planning and paying for everything on the trip. I'm also taking along my mom (52) and my aunt (55) the latter is also blind. My mom and I (22) have been to Disney World several times but this will be my aunt's VERY first time!

Due to her disability I have a couple of questions...

Can we get front row seats (or close to it) to shows within the parks so that my aunt will be able to see the shows better? She still has *some* of her vision and would like to see (what she can) of the shows. I see handicapped seating for people in wheelchairs but what about the blind? I never really paid attention to see if they had special seating, so I'm just curious :)

By shows I mean anything from 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Finding Nemo' to the 'Muppet Show' and everything in between - thanks!

I also made dining reservations for lunch and/or dinners (we have the Disney Dining Plan) and I was wondering what you thought of some of the places? I've eatten at most of them before and some I have... but it's been a long time.

Day 1: Tony's Town Square
Day 2: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre
Day 3: Coral Reef
Day 4: Jiko (we're staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge)
Day 5: Liberty Tree Tavern
Day 6: Rose & Crown Pub

Okay...I think that's it, for now anyway :]
